From the Charles Darwin Research Station, walk north along Charles Binford Avenue towards the main part of Puerto Ayora. Turn left onto Avenida Baltra. Restaurante El Descanso del Guía will be on your right, along the waterfront. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. No costs are involved.

From Baltra Airport, take the Lobito bus to the Itabaca Channel ferry terminal ($5 per person). After crossing the channel by ferry ($1 per person), take a public bus from the ferry terminal on Santa Cruz Island to Puerto Ayora ($5 per person). The bus will drop you off near San Francisco Park. From there, walk along the waterfront on Avenida Baltra until you reach the restaurant. The restaurant will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5 minutes.
