Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Centro Histórico of Quito, start at Plaza Grande, the main square. From Plaza Grande, head southeast on Avenida García Moreno. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the Museum of the City on your left, at García Moreno, Quito 170405.

  • Bus

    Take any bus that travels along Avenida 10 de Agosto towards the south. Get off at the stop near Parque El Ejido. From there, walk east on Avenida 6 de Diciembre until you reach Avenida García Moreno. Turn left and continue walking for about 400 meters until you reach the Museum of the City on your right.

  • Trolebus

    Board the Trolebus at any station heading towards 'La Ofelia'. Get off at the stop 'Mariscal Sucre' and transfer to the 'Trolebus Sur' line. Continue to 'El Ejido' station. From there, walk east on Avenida 6 de Diciembre until you reach Avenida García Moreno. Turn left and walk about 400 meters to the Museum of the City on your right.
