The reserve is located about 15 kilometers from the main road along a well-maintained side road. Make sure to have cash on hand for entrance fees, which are around $5 per person.

To reach Limoncocha National Biological Reserve by public transportation, take a bus from the main terminal in Sucumbíos heading towards Limoncocha. Buses run regularly and the fare is typically about $2. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Limoncocha, you may need to hire a local taxi or walk the final stretch to the reserve entrance, which is about 3 kilometers away.
