Getting There

Walking
Start at the Luxor Temple, which is located in the heart of Luxor. From the Temple, head northeast towards the Corniche Road. Once you reach the Corniche, turn right and walk along the river towards the north. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the area of the Valley of the Kings. At the entrance to the Valley of the Kings, ask for directions to the Tomb of Ramose (TT55) as it is located nearby, in the Al Qarna area. The tomb is a short walk from the main entrance of the Valley.

Alternatively, if you are near the Luxor Museum, you can walk towards the Luxor Temple and then follow the previous directions from there. The distance from the museum to the Luxor Temple is about 1 kilometer, so it will take you approximately 15-20 minutes on foot.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Luxor. Start at the Luxor Temple and cycle towards the Corniche Road, then continue north along the river. Follow the same route as above towards the Valley of the Kings. Cycling should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have a map for reference.

Horse-drawn carriage
You can also take a traditional horse-drawn carriage (known as a calèche) from the Luxor Temple. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to the Valley of the Kings. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance, and from there, it is a short walk to the Tomb of Ramose.
