Getting There

  • Car

    From Tallinn Old Town, head northeast on Pikk Street towards the Viru Gate. Continue straight onto Skoone Bastion. Turn right onto Narva Road (E263) and follow the road for approximately 4 km. Then take a left onto Pirita Road (Tallinna-Pirita tee) and continue straight for about 2 km. Look for signs to Pirita beach as you approach the coast. The beach is located at Merivälja tee 1f, 11911 Tallinn. Parking is available near the beach, but please note that there may be parking fees.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Tallinn Old Town, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is likely at 'Viru'. Take bus number 1A towards 'Pirita' or bus number 34A towards 'Pirita'. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Pirita' stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes towards the beach, following the signs along Merivälja tee that lead you directly to Pirita beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times, as they may vary.

  • Public Transportation - Tram and Bus

    From Tallinn Old Town, walk to the 'Viru' tram stop and take tram number 2 towards 'Lasnamäe'. Get off at the 'Tondi' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 34A towards 'Pirita'. The entire journey will take around 30 minutes. After getting off at the 'Pirita' bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes to the beach by following Merivälja tee.
