Travel Guide to Tallinn Pirita Marina

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Tallinn Old Town, start by heading southeast on Aia Street towards the intersection with Narva Road (E263). Continue straight onto Narva Road, which becomes Laagna Road. After approximately 4 km, take the exit towards Pirita. Follow the signs for Pirita and continue straight until you reach Pirita Marina, located at 11911 Tallinn. Parking is available at the marina, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Tallinn Pirita Marina via public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in Tallinn Old Town, such as 'Viru'. From there, take Bus 1A or Bus 34A. Both buses will take you directly to the 'Pirita' bus stop, which is a short walk from the marina. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the current bus schedule for any changes. A single ticket costs around €2, which you can purchase from the bus driver or using a mobile app.

• Public Transportation - Tram and Bus

  Another option is to take Tram Line 1 or 2 from the 'Viru' stop in the Old Town to 'Kadriorg' stop. From Kadriorg, transfer to Bus 34A and ride to the 'Pirita' stop. The total travel time is about 30-35 minutes. The tram fare is €2, and you will need to pay for the bus separately, also around €2.

• Walking and Public Transportation

  For those who prefer walking, you can stroll from Tallinn Old Town to the Pirita area, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Head towards the waterfront along the promenade. Alternatively, you can walk to the nearest tram stop (like 'Viru'), take a tram to 'Kadriorg', and then catch Bus 34A to 'Pirita' as mentioned above. This combined method will also take about 30-35 minutes total.
