Starting from the main entrance of Tartu University, head east towards the intersection of Ülikooli Street and Narva Road (Narva mnt). Once you reach Narva Road, turn left and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you see the Tartu Linnamuuseum on your right at Narva mnt 23. The museum is located in a prominent building and is easily recognizable.

From Tartu University, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Ülikooli Street. Take bus number 6 or 7 towards Tartu city center. Get off at the bus stop named 'Narva mnt.' The journey will take approximately 10 minutes, and the bus fare is around €1.50. Once you get off, Tartu Linnamuuseum will be a short walk ahead at Narva mnt 23.
