An Amazing 2-Day Awash National Park Experience

We had a wonderful 2-day trip to Awash National Park with Danakil Depression Tours, and it was a great experience from beginning to end. The whole trip was well organized, relaxed, and gave us a chance to see a very different side of Ethiopia away from the busy cities. Our guide, Yohans, was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a good experience. He explained the wildlife, landscape, and local area very clearly and was always happy to answer our questions. We never felt rushed, and he gave us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and look for wildlife. Our driver, Melaku, was also fantastic. He drove carefully and patiently, especially on the park roads, and was very good at spotting interesting places and wildlife along the way. His friendly attitude made the long drives much more enjoyable. One of the highlights was exploring the spectacular landscapes around Awash National Park, including the Awash River and Awash Falls. The scenery was beautiful, with open savannah, rocky landscapes, and plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing. We also enjoyed seeing birds and other animals in their natural environment. The two-day itinerary was a good balance of driving, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, and relaxing. Everything was handled smoothly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Horse Ride and Wild Hyenas Adventure in the Addis Highlands

Great day with locals and beautiful country

The tour was such a wonderful experience it is a peaceful and calm day on the mountainside also interacting with so many friendly locals and seeing the traditional house and cooking injera was really special. There are so many hyenas in the valley and so many hidden gems in the day like trying honey wine, seeing baby hyenas, chatting to the mountain shepherd boys, hearing about all of the rich and beautiful history from the two very passionate guides in Yonas and Daniel. Yonas is so knowledgeable and kind to accommodate our requests and really went out of his way to make the day special. Daniel is also such a proud and generous local guide and is very invested us having an amazing time. The day was honestly brilliant and I would recommend for anyone wanting to have a authentic Ethiopian experience in seeing the beautiful parts of the modern and countryside areas and learning more about this in beautiful country.

A Beautiful Day Away From Addis With Plenty to Explore

A group of us took the Day Trip From Addis Ababa To Wenchi Crater Lake with Danakil Depression Tours, and it was a great way to spend a day outside the city. The drive through the countryside was enjoyable on its own, but reaching Wenchi Crater Lake was the real highlight. The volcanic landscape, green hills, and peaceful surroundings felt completely different from the pace of Addis Ababa. We enjoyed walking around, taking photos, and having time to simply enjoy the views together. Our guide was friendly and helpful, giving us useful information about the area without overwhelming us with details. The trip was well organized, and everything felt easy from the start, which meant we could focus on enjoying the day with friends.
