If you are starting from the center of Axum, head towards the main road (known as አባ ገብር ጎዳና / Aba Gebre Road). Walk along this road, and after about 15 minutes, you will reach the entrance to the Dungur Palace on your right. Look for the signs indicating the direction to ቤተ መንግስቲ ንግስቲ ሳባ.

From the Axum Obelisk, walk towards the west along the main road for about 20 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you see a large stone structure on a hill to your left; this is the Dungur Palace. Follow the path leading up to the palace.
