From the center of Axum, start at the Aksum Obelisk, which is one of the most famous landmarks. Head east on the main road (known as the Aksum road) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafés along the way. Look for signs indicating the direction to the Church of St. Mary of Zion, as Kahsay Beyene is located close to this site. Once you reach the Church of St. Mary of Zion, continue walking for another 200 meters. Kahsay Beyene is located slightly to the north of the church, near the coordinates 14.1219613, 38.7209268. Follow the small paths that lead toward the area indicated by the coordinates.
