If you are in the center of Mekele, start at the main square (Mekele Meskel Square). Head northeast on the main road towards the hospital. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a large intersection. Turn left at the intersection onto FFXH street. Continue on this road for about 500 meters, and you will see the Hatsey Yohannes IV Museum on your right. It is located at FFXH+54H, Mekele.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in central Mekele. Begin your journey from the main square, heading northeast towards the hospital. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto FFXH street. Continue cycling for about 500 meters, and the Hatsey Yohannes IV Museum will be on your right. It's a pleasant ride with local scenery.

From anywhere in Mekele, find a minibus heading towards the hospital area. Once you board, inform the driver that you are going to the Hatsey Yohannes IV Museum or simply say 'Museum' (they are familiar with it). Disembark at the hospital stop. From there, walk about 500 meters northeast on FFXH street, and you will find the museum on your right.
