Start your journey at the center of Argir, near the Argir Church. Head east on the main road (Argirvegur) towards the coast. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Mýragøta. Turn left onto Mýragøta, and follow this road as it winds around the coastline for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the village of Miðvágur. Look for signs that lead towards Tróndargøta.

Once in Miðvágur, continue on Tróndargøta, which will take you directly towards Slave Cliff. You will pass by local houses and scenic views of the ocean. Keep following Tróndargøta for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to the hiking trail that leads to Slave Cliff. This trail is well-marked, and you will start to see signs for the hiking area.

From the entrance of the hiking trail, follow the designated path that leads you upwards towards Slave Cliff. The trail is moderately steep, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes. The hike should take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your pace. Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the ocean. Keep an eye out for markers that will guide you to the top, where you will find the stunning Lake Above the Ocean.
