The hike to Hvannhagi takes about 1-2 hours each way and is moderately challenging. Parking is available near the hospital.

    To reach Tvøroyri, take the Smyril ferry from Tórshavn to Suðuroy. The ferry departs several times a day, and the journey takes approximately 2 hours. Check the current ferry schedule for updated departure times. A one-way passenger ticket costs around 100 DKK. Upon arrival in Suðuroy, you can take a local bus or taxi to the hospital in Tvøroyri, the starting point for the Hvannhagi hike.
