To reach Gjógv from the center of Gøta, start your journey by heading north on the main road, Route 10. Continue walking straight for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path that leads you toward Gjógv. Follow this road, which will take you through scenic landscapes and picturesque views. After about another 2 kilometers, you will see the sign for Gjógv on your right. Follow the sign, and you will arrive in the charming village of Gjógv, known for its stunning cliffs and natural harbor.
Bus
If you prefer to travel by public transport, you can take a bus from Gøta to Gjógv. Start at the bus stop located on the main road in Gøta. Look for bus number 300, which operates services to Gjógv. The bus will take you directly to Gjógv, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to ensure you catch the right bus, as services may not run frequently. Once the bus arrives at Gjógv, you will be just a short walk away from the main sights.
