Getting There

  • Driving

    From Tórshavn, take Route 1 towards the north. Continue onto Route 10, then Route 50. Turn onto Route 594 towards Haldarsvík. Fossá Waterfall is located right off the road, approximately 5 kilometers before reaching Tjørnuvík. There is a small parking area available near the waterfall. Note that there is a toll for driving through the subsea tunnel.

    From Tórshavn, take the bus line 410 towards Norðragøta. Check the bus schedule for accurate departure times. The bus will take you to Haldarsvík, from where Fossá Waterfall is a short walk. A multi-day travel card for public transport costs DKK 500.
