Public Bus
From Runavík, head to the nearest bus stop which is located on the main road. Take the bus towards Tórshavn. Make sure to check the bus schedule as buses may not run frequently. Get off at the Tórshavn bus terminal. From there, find the bus heading to Saksun. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. After arriving in Saksun, follow the signs to the 'vandfald' (waterfall) and historical sites. The walking path should lead you directly to these attractions.

If you prefer to walk, you can walk to the bus stop on the main road in Runavík and then take the bus as mentioned above. Alternatively, if you enjoy hiking, you can take a more scenic route by walking towards the nearby hills and following trails that lead towards Saksun, but please ensure you have a map or a GPS device for navigation as these routes can be less marked.
