Starting from the center of Vágur, head towards the main road (Route 15) that runs through the town. Walk along Route 15 heading northwest. You will pass by local shops and residential areas. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Gamlarætt Ferry Port along the way. As you approach the port area, the road will curve to the right. Follow this curve, and you will reach the Gamlarætt Ferry Port, which is located at the end of the road.
