Driving
From Tórshavn, drive north on Route 10, then Route 594 to Tjørnuvík. The drive is approximately 1 hour (50 km). Be aware of narrow, winding roads along the mountainside as you approach the village. There is a parking lot at the entrance to the village. Parking is free. Be aware that traffic can be heavy in the summer.

Public Transport
From Tórshavn, take bus 400 to Oyrarbakki. From Oyrarbakki, transfer to bus 201 to Tjørnuvík. Note that bus 201 has limited frequency. The total journey time is approximately 1.5-2 hours. A multi-day travel card for bus and ferry travel is available for DKK 500. Single bus fares vary depending on the distance.
