To reach Patvinsuo National Park from Archipelago National Park by car, first, head north on Route 1 from the Archipelago National Park area. Follow signs for Turku and continue on this highway for approximately 130 kilometers. Once you reach the junction, take Route 23 towards Jyvaskyla. After about 70 kilometers, merge onto Route 6 towards Lieksa. Continue on Route 6 for about 130 kilometers until you reach Lieksa. From Lieksa, follow signs for Patvinsuo National Park. The park entrance is approximately 30 kilometers northeast of the town center. Ensure to have a GPS or map application for precise navigation.

If you are traveling by public transport, start by taking a train from the nearest station in Archipelago National Park to Helsinki. From Helsinki, take a train to Joensuu.
