Walking
From the Jyväskylä Travel Centre, walk north along Asemakatu street. Turn left onto Vapaudenkatu and continue straight. Turn right onto Heikinkatu, then left onto Väinönkatu. Continue onto Tahvosentie, which leads directly to the Äijälänsalmi Old Bridge. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and takes about 25 minutes. There are no costs involved.

Public Transport
From the Jyväskylä Travel Centre, take the Linkki bus number 1, 12, or 13 towards Kuokkala. Get off at the Äijälänsalmi stop, which is right next to the bridge. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. A single ticket costs €2.70 if paid via contactless payment or mobile app, or €4.00 if purchased with cash from the driver.
