Getting There

• Car

  From Koli National Park, head south on the E75 highway towards Joensuu. After approximately 50 kilometers, take the exit for Enonkoski (approx. 25 minutes). Once you arrive in Enonkoski, follow signs directing you to Kolovesi National Park, which is located at Kirkkorannantie 200, 58180 Enonkoski. The total drive time will be about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Kolovesi National Park via public transport, you will need to take a bus from Koli to Joensuu first. The bus ride takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once in Joensuu, transfer to a bus heading to Enonkoski. This leg of the journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Upon arriving in Enonkoski, you can either walk or take a taxi to Kirkkorannantie 200, which is the entrance to Kolovesi National Park. • Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi from Koli National Park directly to Kolovesi National Park. This option is convenient but will incur higher costs. Expect a fare of approximately 80-100 euros, depending on the taxi service and traffic conditions. The ride will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, biking to Kolovesi National Park is an option. From Koli, follow the roads south towards Joensuu for about 50 kilometers. Once in Enonkoski, follow local signage to reach the park entrance at Kirkkorannantie 200. Ensure you have a good map, as some paths may be rural and less marked. This route is suitable for those with cycling experience and will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on your speed.
