From the center of Savonlinna, head to the Savonlinna bus station. You can catch a local bus heading towards Hirvasjärvi. The bus route will take you along the scenic roads of the region. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand, as the frequency may vary. Get off at the bus stop closest to Hirvasjärventie. Once you disembark, walk along Hirvasjärventie road, heading towards the address Hirvasjärventie 39. The Karhuvuori Nature Trail entrance should be well-marked, and the trail itself is a short walk from the road.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Savonlinna. Once you have your bike, head towards Hirvasjärventie, which is approximately a 10-15 minute ride from the city center. Follow the bike paths and look for signs directing you to the Karhuvuori Nature Trail. The trail entrance is located at Hirvasjärventie 39, which is easily accessible by bike.

Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the central square in Savonlinna. Head northeast on Rantakatu until you reach the junction with Hirvasjärventie. Turn left onto Hirvasjärventie. Continue walking along this road for about 4 kilometers. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, but you will be rewarded with beautiful surroundings. Look for signs indicating the entrance to Karhuvuori Nature Trail at Hirvasjärventie 39.
