Walking
If you are in the center of Savonlinna, start at the Savonlinna Market Square (Savonlinnan Kauppatori). From the square, head south on Kauppatori Street towards the water. As you walk, you will see the beautiful Olavinlinna Castle to your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Kylpylaitoksentie. Turn right onto Kylpylaitoksentie and continue straight for about 500 meters. You will see Marja-Liisa Vartion Puisto on your left at Kylpylaitoksentie 2. The park is easily recognizable by its green spaces and walking paths.

Public Transport
From the Savonlinna bus station, take bus number 1 or 2 that heads towards the Kylpylaitos area. The bus will take you along Kylpylaitoksentie. Get off at the Kylpylaitos stop. From there, walk about 100 meters back towards the bus route, and you will find Marja-Liisa Vartion Puisto on your right at Kylpylaitoksentie 2. The park is a short walk from the bus stop and is a lovely spot to relax.
