If you are in the center of Savonlinna, start by heading towards the market square (Savonlinnan tori). From the market square, walk along the main street (Kauppakatu) towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the bridge (Savonlinnan silta). Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Riihisaari. The museum is located on an island, so you will need to walk along the path that leads you to the ferry terminal. The ferry operates regularly and will take you directly to Riihisaari in a few minutes.

From the market square (Savonlinnan tori), you can take a local bus (Bus number 2) towards Riihisaari. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most current times.
