If you're driving from any location in Captiva Island, head east on Captiva Drive towards Sanibel Island. Continue on Captiva Drive until you reach the bridge that connects to Sanibel Island (about 4 miles). Once on Sanibel Island, continue straight on Periwinkle Way for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Wulfert Road. The Grave of Captain Oliver Bowen is located at 2265 Wulfert Rd, Sanibel, FL 33957, which is about 1 mile down Wulfert Road on your left.

If you prefer using public transportation, you can take the LeeTran bus service from Captiva to Sanibel Island. Board the bus at the nearest stop, and make sure to ask the driver for the best route to Sanibel. Once you arrive at Sanibel, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles from the bus stop on Periwinkle Way to Wulfert Road. This will take you through a scenic area, and you can use a map app on your smartphone to navigate the last stretch to 2265 Wulfert Rd.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Captiva and ride over to Sanibel Island. Follow the same route as cars: head east on Captiva Drive, cross the bridge into Sanibel, and then take Periwinkle Way to Wulfert Road. This is a nice way to enjoy the scenery, but do ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you to 2265 Wulfert Rd.

If you are staying near the bridge to Sanibel, you can also walk to the Grave of Captain Oliver Bowen.
