Car
If you're driving, start on US-1 South. Follow the signs toward Key West. After approximately 28 miles, you will reach Big Pine Key. Look for the National Key Deer Refuge Nature Center at 30587 Overseas Hwy. It will be on your right-hand side. Make sure to watch for the sign indicating the refuge as it can be easy to miss.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Keys Shuttle from your current location. You will need to check the schedule for the shuttle that goes to Big Pine Key. Once you arrive at the Big Pine Key stop, walk along Overseas Hwy toward the National Key Deer Refuge Nature Center, which is located at 30587 Overseas Hwy. It should take approximately 15 minutes to walk from the shuttle stop to the center.
