Getting There

• Bus

  To reach Ruth B. Kirby Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park from Gainesville, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. Catch the Route 13 bus towards High Springs. The bus will take you directly towards High Springs. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop near the intersection of US-441 and NE 60th St. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles northeast on NE 60th St to reach the park entrance at 7450 NE 60th St. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to ensure you have the latest times.

• Bicycle

  If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Gainesville. Head out on the Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail. Follow the trail heading east until you reach the intersection with US-441. Turn north on US-441 and continue until you reach NE 60th St. Turn right onto NE 60th St and follow it for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at Ruth B. Kirby Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park.

  For those who prefer to walk, you can start your journey from downtown Gainesville. Head north towards NE 8th Ave and follow it until it becomes NE 39th Ave. Continue straight until you reach US-441. Cross over to the west side of US-441 and head north until you reach the intersection with NE 60th St. Turn right onto NE 60th St and walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach Ruth B. Kirby Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park at 7450 NE 60th St.
