From the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head southeast on Avenue du Petit Port. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la Gare, then turn right. Follow Rue de la Gare until you see the intersection with Rue Carnot. Turn left onto Rue Carnot and continue until you reach the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville. The Château des Ducs de Savoie is located just a short walk from here, on the hill overlooking the old town.
