In 2017, the SCOR Group acquired the estate, entrusting its management to Aymeric de Gironde, with Rémy Monribot as the cellar master. The terroir of Château Troplong Mondot is characterized by clay-limestone soil on the Mondot hill, offering ideal geological conditions and exposure.
