Anjony Castle: A Bastion of History in Tournemire

Nestled in the Cantal region of France, Anjony Castle, or Château d'Anjony, is a captivating historical site that offers a glimpse into the past. The chapel contains detailed frescoes illustrating the life of Christ.Throughout its history, Anjony Castle has been a family residence, passing down through generations. The castle has been inhabited by the same family since its construction and has been open to the public for about 80 years. In the 18th century, the addition of a new wing provided a more comfortable and modern dwelling, reflecting the architectural tastes of the time.
