Getting There

Walking

From the Chamonix train station, head east on Avenue Michel Croz towards the center of town. Continue onto Place du Mont Blanc, then turn right onto Place du Triangle de l'Amitié. The Tourist Office is located on the right side of the square, a short walk from the main square and easily visible.
Public Transport

The Chamonix Mobilité bus network serves the entire valley. All bus lines stop at Cham Sud and Place du Mont Blanc, a short walk from the Tourist Office. With a 'carte d'hôte' (guest card) provided by your accommodation, bus travel within the valley is free.
Taxi/Ride-Share

Taxis are available at the Chamonix train station and throughout the town. A short taxi ride from the train station or any central location to the Tourist Office on Place du Triangle de l'Amitié will cost approximately €10-€15. Ride-sharing services may also be available, but taxis are more readily accessible.
Driving

If driving, be aware that parking in the center of Chamonix can be challenging, especially during peak season. Several parking options are available, including Parking du Mont-Blanc (Avenue du Mont Blanc), which is about 400m away from the tourist office. Parking for less than an hour is free in the Center Ville, Saint-Michel, Mont-Blanc, Entrèves, Allobroges, Médiathèque, Lionel Terray, Fond des Gires, Corzolet, and Tennis car parks. For longer stays, Parking du Grepon (accessed from the first roundabout as you reach the entrance to Chamonix) is a good option, with costs of €9.50 for 12 hours up to €16 for a 15-24 hour period. From any of these parking locations, follow signs towards the town center and Place du Triangle de l'Amitié.
