Getting There

Metro
If you are starting your journey from the Old Port (Vieux Port) area, walk to the Vieux Port Metro station. Take Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards La Fourragère. After 4 stops, get off at the Joliette station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for Les Docks and head towards the waterfront.

From the Joliette Metro station, exit towards Les Docks. Walk straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the promenade towards the J4 Esplanade. The Mucem will be located on your right side, easily visible with its unique architecture.

If you prefer to take the bus, from the Vieux Port area, walk to the bus stop at 'Vieux Port'. Take Bus Line 82 towards 'La Plage'. Get off at the 'Mucem' stop, which is directly in front of the museum.
