Getting There

• Car

  If you have access to a car, start from the center of Méribel. Head south on Route de la Montée (D90) towards Les Allues. Continue on D90 for approximately 11 km until you reach the junction for Pralognan-la-Vanoise. Turn left onto D915 and follow the signs to Pralognan-la-Vanoise. Once in Pralognan, follow the signs towards Bois de la Glière. The parking area is located near the entrance to the Bois de la Glière trail. Please note that parking fees may apply during peak seasons.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Belvédère du bois de la Glière via public transportation, take a local bus from Méribel to Pralognan-la-Vanoise. Buses typically run throughout the day, and the trip takes about 30-40 minutes. Check the local bus schedule for exact departure times. Upon arrival in Pralognan, you will need to walk to the Bois de la Glière trail. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and takes about 20 minutes. Follow the signs to Bois de la Glière, which will lead you through the village to the trailhead.

The hiking route to Belvédère du bois de la Glière is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The hike is approximately 12 km and takes around 3-4 hours.
