Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Nice, start at the Promenade des Anglais. Walk east along the promenade for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rue de France. Turn left onto Rue de France and continue walking until you reach Rue de la Buffa. Turn right onto Rue de la Buffa and keep walking until you come to the end of the street. You will then turn left onto Avenue Jean Médecin. Continue straight until you reach Place Masséna, a famous square in Nice. From Place Masséna, head towards the Jardin Albert I, which is located just south of the square. Continue walking through the park until you reach the Avenue de Verdun. Cross the street to continue towards the coastline where you will find the Sundial located at coordinates 43.6935077, 7.279043199999999. The Sundial is a beautiful vista point overlooking the sea.

    From the Nice-Ville train station, exit the station and head towards Avenue Thiers. Turn left onto Avenue Thiers and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the Tramway stop 'Gare Thiers'. Take Tram Line 1 in the direction of 'Hôpital Pasteur'. Get off at the stop 'Masséna'. From there, walk south towards the Promenade des Anglais.
