If you are starting from the heart of Le Marais, head towards the Seine River. Walk west on Rue des Francs Bourgeois until you reach Rue de Rivoli. Turn left onto Rue de Rivoli and continue walking until you reach Pont au Change. Cross the bridge, which will take you to Île de la Cité. Once you are on the island, continue straight until you reach the Memorial to The Massacre of October 17th, 1961, located near the Notre-Dame Cathedral. The memorial is situated at the eastern end of the island, close to the entrance of the Square du Vert-Galant.

Public Transport (Metro)
From Le Marais, walk to the nearest Metro station, which is Hôtel de Ville on Line 1. Take the Metro towards La Défense and travel for one stop to Châtelet. At Châtelet, transfer to Line 4 (the purple line) towards Mairie de Montrouge. Travel for one stop and get off at Cité station. Exit the station and walk towards Île de la Cité. The memorial is a short walk from the station, located near the Notre-Dame Cathedral. This option costs around €1.90 for a single ticket.
