Surrounded by wide moats, the castle is accessed via a 44-meter-long bridge and features a double drawbridge, corner towers, and a rampart walk, reflecting its defensive design. Despite its formidable exterior, the interior boasts lavishly decorated rooms, reflecting the refined tastes of the Renaissance. Visitors can explore the grand reception room, library, and Saint-Anne's Chapel, furnished with exquisite pieces from the 16th to 18th centuries.
