Getting There

• Walking

  From the city center of Angers, make your way to the Place du Ralliement. Once at the square, head southeast on Rue de la Paix towards Rue des Lices. Continue straight until you reach the banks of the Maine River. Follow the riverside path north along the Maine. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views and keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Confluent. Upon reaching the junction where the Maine meets the Sarthe and Mayenne rivers, you will find the Confluent de la Maine, la Sarthe et la Mayenne. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes.

• Public Transport - Tram

  Start at the Angers Saint-Laud train station. From there, take Tram Line A in the direction of Belle-Beille. Get off at the stop 'Gare St. Laud'. Once there, transfer to Tram Line B towards La Roseraie. Ride for three stops and get off at 'Molière'. From 'Molière', head northwest on Rue de Molière until you reach the banks of the Maine River. Walk along the riverside path which will lead you to the Confluent de la Maine, la Sarthe et la Mayenne. The entire journey will take approximately 25 minutes, including walking.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike at one of the many bike-sharing stations around Angers. Start at the Place du Ralliement and cycle towards the Maine River by following Rue des Lices to the riverbank. Once on the riverside path, head north along the Maine River. The cycling path is well-maintained and scenic. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate the Confluent area. This bike ride is about 3 kilometers and should take about 10-15 minutes.
