While Candes-Saint-Martin is a small village, it is accessible by bus from nearby towns such as Saumur. From the bus stop in Candes-Saint-Martin, follow the main road (Rue de la Mairie) towards the center of the village. Then, turn onto Rue du Confluent and walk towards the riverbanks. The confluence will be at the end of this road. Bus tickets cost approximately €2-€4 for a single journey, depending on the distance.
