If you are starting from the Saint-Malo train station, exit the station and head southwest on Rue de la Gare. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Place de la République. From there, turn left onto Rue de la Fonderie. Walk for another 300 meters until you reach the city ramparts. Follow the ramparts in the direction of the Porte Saint-Vincent.
