From the main island of Tahiti, head to the ferry terminal at Papeete. Look for boats heading towards the nearby island of Moorea, as there are limited direct boat services to Teahupo'o. Once in Moorea, you can hire a local boat service that can take you to Teahupo'o directly. Be sure to ask the captain to take you to 'Spot Surf Teahupo'o' located on Route de Teahupo'o, Taiarapu-Ouest.

Public Transport
From Papeete, take a local bus (called 'Le Truck') to the southeastern area of Tahiti, specifically towards Teahupo'o. The bus route will take you along the coast, and you’ll want to get off at the stop closest to Route de Teahupo'o. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the surf spot. Follow the local signs or ask locals for directions to Spot Surf Teahupo'o.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle in Papeete. Cycle along the coastal road towards Teahupo'o, which will take you approximately an hour or two depending on your pace. Follow signs for Teahupo'o, and as you approach, look for Route de Teahupo'o. The surf spot is located right along this road. Be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed.
