If you are already in Papeete, finding Place Vai'ete is quite straightforward. Start at the central market area (Marché de Papeete). From the market, head west along Rue du Général de Gaulle. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn left onto Boulevard de la Reine Pomare IV. After a short walk of about 300 meters, you will see Place Vai'ete on your right, which is a popular park area with beautiful views of the harbor.

For a bit of adventure, you can take a local bus. Locate the nearest bus stop in Papeete (most stops are near the central market). Board a bus heading towards 'Papeete Centre' or any bus that stops along Boulevard de la Reine Pomare IV. The fare is approximately 200 XPF (Pacific Francs). Once you get off at the stop closest to the harbor, walk towards the waterfront, and you will find Place Vai'ete just a short walk away, about 200 meters.
