    If you are in central Papeete, the Maison de la Culture is easily accessible on foot. Head towards Boulevard Pomare, a main road along the waterfront. Walk along the coastal road towards the Paofai area. The Maison de la Culture will be on your right at boulevard Pomare 646. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    To reach the Maison de la Culture by bus, take a local bus (Tere Vao) from various points in Tahiti. Get off at the stop closest to Boulevard Pomare. From there, it's a short walk to Maison de la Culture at boulevard Pomare 646. Bus fares are around 300 XPF per trip.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Papeete. A taxi ride from Tahiti-Faa'a International Airport to downtown Papeete costs approximately 2,150 XPF during the day and 2,860 XPF at night. From the airport, the ride to Maison de la Culture will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis typically charge a base fare of 1,000 XPF, plus 160 XPF per kilometer during the day (6:00 AM to 8:00 PM). Night fares (8:00 PM to 6:00 AM) are 260 XPF per kilometer. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

    If driving from anywhere in Tahiti, head towards the main road leading north to Papeete. Follow Route 1 towards Boulevard Pomare. Turn left onto Boulevard Pomare, and Maison De La Culture will be on your right at boulevard Pomare 646. There is a public parking lot, managed by the Direction des affaires foncières, located in front of the Maison de la Culture. The parking is free and open 24/7. The parking provides 123 spaces for cars, 3 spaces for people with reduced mobility, 2 bus spaces, 12 spaces for motorcycles and 6 spaces for bicycles. Other parking options include the public parkings at Place Pomare and Place Tarahoi, with fees of 100 XPF for the first hour and 100 XPF for each additional half-hour.
