    Getting There

    Public Transport

    To reach Belvédère du Tahara'a by public transport, start at the main bus station in Papeete, located at Place Vaiete. Take the bus that heads towards Arue. Buses to Arue are frequent. Confirm with the driver that the bus stops near Belvédère du Tahara'a or ask for a stop near the main road leading to it. Once you reach Arue, get off at the stop closest to Unnamed Rd. From there, continue on foot towards the entrance of the road leading uphill to Belvédère du Tahara'a. The bus fare from Papeete to Arue is approximately 200 XPF.

    Car

    If driving from Papeete, head east on Route 1 (Coastal Road) towards Arue. Continue for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Belvédère du Tahara'a. At the roundabout in Arue, take the second exit onto Unnamed Rd. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer; the observation deck will be on your left. There is a small parking area available. Parking is free.

    Taxi/Rideshare

    For a direct route, take a taxi or use a rideshare app. Request to be taken to Belvédère du Tahara'a, address FFMW+XFF, Unnamed Rd Arue. It's a short drive from Papeete, about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 3,000-4,000 XPF for a one-way trip from Papeete.
