Walking
From the Sofitel Ia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, the Toatea Lookout is a short uphill walk. Follow the road north of the resort; the lookout point will be on your right. The walk is steep but manageable, taking approximately 10-15 minutes. There are no costs involved.
Taxi
Taxis are available from the ferry terminal or airport. A taxi from the ferry terminal to Toatea Lookout will cost approximately 2,000 XPF (around $20 USD) during the day. Ensure the driver uses the meter or negotiate the fare beforehand.
Rental Car/Scooter
If you have rented a car or scooter, follow the main coastal road north from the Vaiare ferry terminal. The lookout is approximately 3.5 kilometers from the ferry dock.
