Spanning 80 hectares, the winery features lush vineyards, a state-of-the-art wine factory, an aging cellar, recreational parks, and a restaurant. Founded in 2001, Chelti began construction in 2005 and opened its doors in 2006. The winery combines traditional Georgian methods with modern European techniques. The highlight is its underground wine cellar, seven meters below ground, maintaining a constant temperature ideal for aging wine. Chelti is known for its diverse selection of handcrafted wines, including unique white and red varietals made from grapes like Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Kisi and Khikhvi. Visitors can explore the vineyards, learn about the winemaking process, and sample Chelti's wines. The on-site restaurant offers Kakhetian cuisine with European influences. Guests can also participate in traditional activities like baking Kakhetian Shoti bread or making Churchkhela, a traditional Georgian dessert.
