Car
If you are driving, start from the city center of Telavi, the capital of Kakheti. Head southeast on Shota Rustaveli Street toward Gomi Street. After approximately 3 kilometers, merge onto the Tbilisi - Telavi - Lagodekhi highway (E117). Continue on this highway for about 16 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for RQ52. Turn left onto RQ52 and follow the road for around 5 kilometers. The Numisi Cellar Museum will be located on your right at the address RQ52+46V, Kvareli-Mukuzani, Velistsikhe. There is usually ample parking available at the museum.
Public Transportation
To reach the Numisi Cellar Museum via public transport, start by heading to the Telavi bus station. From there, catch a marshrutka (minibus) heading toward Kvareli. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Velistsikhe stop. Once you get off, it is about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head northwest from the bus stop, following signs toward RQ52, and the museum will be on your right. Be sure to check the marshrutka schedule beforehand, as they may not run frequently.
