From the center of Khevsureti, take the main road towards Shatili. Continue driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Barisakho. From Barisakho, follow the signs towards Machis Tsikhe / Machi Castle. The drive should take around 1 hour. The last part of the journey is a narrow dirt road, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. There are no tolls on this route.

To reach Machis Tsikhe / Machi Castle using public transport, start from the main bus station in Khevsureti. Take a marshrutka (shared minibus) heading towards Shatili.
