Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Kvemo Kartli, take the E60 highway towards Tbilisi. Follow the signs for Tbilisi and continue for approximately 50 kilometers. Once you reach Tbilisi, take the exit towards the city center. As you approach Tbilisi, you will need to navigate through the city streets. Use a GPS or navigation app to find Shota Chitadze Dead End. Upon arrival, there is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find street parking or a designated parking area.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Mtatsminda Funicular via public transportation, start at the nearest bus station in Kvemo Kartli. Look for a bus heading to Tbilisi, which typically costs around 2 GEL. Once you arrive at Tbilisi's central bus station, transfer to a local bus or marshrutka heading to Rustaveli Avenue. Get off at the Rustaveli stop and walk towards Shota Chitadze Dead End. The walk is about 15-20 minutes, following the directions on your map or navigation app.

• Public Transportation (Metro)

  If you prefer to use the metro, take a bus or marshrutka to the nearest metro station in Tbilisi. The closest metro station to the bus station is the 'Rustaveli' station. Once on the metro, ride until you reach the 'Liberty Square' station. From there, exit the station and walk approximately 1 kilometer to Shota Chitadze Dead End, where the Mtatsminda Funicular is located. The metro fare is around 0.50 GEL.
