From Uplistsikhe, begin your journey by heading northwest on the main road (E117). Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Dzegvi. As you enter Dzegvi, look for the signs directing you to the Cave Church. The church is located at the coordinates 41.8595834 latitude and 44.6385295 longitude. You may need to park your vehicle nearby and walk the final stretch to the church.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a minibus (marshrutka) from Uplistsikhe to the nearest larger town, Gori. Minibuses depart regularly from Uplistsikhe, and the fare is typically around 1 GEL. Once in Gori, you can catch another marshrutka heading towards Dzegvi. Inform the driver of your destination, and the fare will be about 1 GEL as well. After reaching Dzegvi, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the Cave Church. Follow the main road, and look for signs leading to the church.
