Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Mtskheta, near the Jvari Monastery. Head south on the main street, Aghmashenebeli Avenue, towards the Mtkvari River. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to Tbilisi. Cross the river using the bridge, and once you reach the other side, turn left onto the road that leads into Tbilisi. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will begin to see signs directing you towards Old Tbilisi. As you approach the Old Town, keep an eye out for Dzmebi Kakabadzeebi Street on your right. Turn onto this street, and you will find your destination at number 8 on the left side.

• Public Transport (Minibus)

  From the center of Mtskheta, locate the minibus station, which is usually near the market area. Look for a minibus heading to Tbilisi; you can ask locals for direction to the right minibus. Board the minibus and pay the fare (typically around 1 Lari). The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the station in Tbilisi closest to the Old Town. From there, walk towards the Mtkvari River, and follow the previous walking instructions to reach 8 Dzmebi Kakabadzeebi St.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Mtskheta. You can either hail a taxi on the street or ask your hotel or local shop to call one for you. Provide the driver with the address: 8 Dzmebi Kakabadzeebi St, Tbilisi. The journey should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the journey or ensure the driver uses a meter.
